Reflections of a queen

Reflections of a queen challenges the viewer to see themselves through empowering and inspiring stories of women who had an unrelenting spirit for justice. The artwork comprises of a self portrait and two sheroes (Shirley Chisolm and Annie Silinga). These two women represent the notion that irregardless of different geographical locations, black women speak with one voice. Shirley was an American activist while Annie was a South African activist.
